Wednesday Sept 12, Delegate Heather Mizeur (Dem. Montgomery County) announced that she will sponsor a legislative moratorium on gas development in Maryland until the necessary studies called for in Governor O’Malley’s Executive Order of June 2011 have been completed. A state-wide coalition of citizen groups has endorsed Delegate Mizeur’s proposal.
